Parental involvement is encouraged at VVIS. Our Parents Association is always active and arranges numerous meetings and events throughout the year. Therefore the VVIS PA forms a vital part of the VVIS community (students, alummni, faculty and families). For more information, please visit their website.
Where do your teachers come from?
VVIS has an international and diverse faculty and staff complement. More than 60% of staff hold a Masters or second degree. Our teachers form an integral part of our community and therefore VVIS ensures that their methods of teaching meet the highest standards. Our excellent teachers and ongoing assessment is reflected in our consistent and outstanding academic track record.
Will my child need to take a placement test?
As part of the VVIS Admissions Policy, the Admissions Officer or Headmaster may require the administering of an admissions placement test. The reason for the test is to ensure that the applicant meets the requisite criteria for the year he or she wishes to enter and to enable greater fairness in the allocation of places where there are more applications than places available.
