Admissions Process
Applying to VVIS is a four step process and the school is unable to admit your child until your file is complete. Steps 1 and 3 can be submitted at different times or concurrently.
Step 1: Opening an Application File
To begin the application process to secure a place or to be placed on the waiting list, the Admissions Office needs to receive the completed Application Form and the signed Financial Regulations. These forms should be downloaded, printed and faxed or sent to the school.
The relevant forms should be downloaded below:

The Application File (Step 3 in the process) with all of the required forms needs to be completed within six weeks of the initial application. Students are accepted on a space-available basis throughout the current school year. Applications will not be accepted more than two years in advance of the expected date of entry.
An email will be sent to confirm receipt of the forms with an invoice for the appropriate registration fee included as an attachment. Students on the waiting list are also requested to complete the file within six weeks.
Step 2: Placement Testing
Students applying to Years 7 - 13 who do not have English as their mother tongue will be asked to complete an English Placement Test. The test will be electronically mailed to the student's current school for administration. Please ensure the school returns the completed test within two weeks of receipt.
Subject specific placement tests/screening might be required to place a student in the correct level of a course - i.e. mathematics, foreign language and science.
