A vacancy exists at VVIS for a qualified Secondary School Teacher to teach Business & Economics IGCSE & Advanced Level. The successful candidate will commence in September 2026, but candidates are welcome to apply to start immediately.

Job Description

​

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons to inspire our pupils aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. 

You will be a part of a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality education, joining a team who are dedicated to providing the very best education to our pupils while creating a safe and supportive classroom environment fostering critical thinking and creativity. ​

Key Responsibilities

 

• Plan, prepare and deliver interactive lessons aligning with the Cambridge International Curriculum; delivering Business and Economics IGCSE and Advanced Level.

• Provide a variety of teaching methods and instruction through differentiation and meeting the needs of students. 

• Participate in professional development activities supported by the management of the school. 

• Offer a safe and supportive classroom environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Education.

• Experience as a Secondary School Teacher in Business and Economics. 

• Strong communication skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents. 

• Ability to work independently as well as a team player.

• Availability to attend Parents-Teachers meetings. 

• A strong commitment to students' academic, social, and emotional development, aligned with VVIS values.
